      1911 Gun Porn

As a collector, it's been modified, no matter how long ago, it's not original. That price is a little high in my book but if you really like, go for it. Might as well go ahead and re-blue it and make it pretty with new grips. Then use it as a shooter, not a safe queen.

How many calibers do you own?

      I've always tried to keep it to a minimum. 45ACP 45LC .308/7.62X51MM 9MM .380ACP/9MMShort and a couple of oddballs .38SW & 20 guage It's easier and quicker when I go ammo shopping.

      Tiny flashlight?

I dug through my stuff and finally found the little critter I was talking about...it's not a Streamlight and it will fit a .22 barrel. It's a Coast PX7 LED Bore Inspection Light. The pin batteries (2) were dead so I replaced them and it works fine again. Amazon has them for 19.95

      New from Washington County

Howdy neighbor! Hang on tight, this is an "E" ticket ride. E ticket is a Disneyland reference. You had to have an E ticket to get on the good rides. A, B, C, and D were lame.

NC Sheriff Candidate: Kill Gun Owners Who Won’t Give Up Their Guns

Waaay back when I was young and raising hell, I met a guy my age from Transylvania County. He wanted to drag race down Main Street in Canton one night. I told him the Canton cops would bury him under the jail for something like that. He said, "Ya oughtta come overta BREEvard, thar ain't no...

NC Sheriff Candidate: Kill Gun Owners Who Won’t Give Up Their Guns

Asheville is my home town. The guy who said this is a wannabe cop. He was never even a Sheriff's Deputy. I highly doubt he'll get elected. He has run for city council AND mayor several times but never gets in. You'll probably never hear from him again after this.

Want to ID the inspectors mark on a 1911

Have you contacted Colt yet? I paid $100 for a certificate saying when my 1918 "Black Army" was shipped out and where it went. It doesn't give you any more info but it adds to the value, if you ever sell it. Mine went to Benicia Arsenal, CA, US Cavalry in 1918. Nice looking frame-able piece...
