The first coyote I ever saw was while driving on Route 50 in Dorchester County
between Vienna and Cambridge a couple of years ago. I had heard them before, many years ago at night in Texas, but had never actually seen any.
I go whenever I get a chance. Back when the stadium was under construction, I sneaked in there late one night and had a few beers where home plate was going to be ;)
Nice.
I bought two at Fat Boys yesterday. Eight dollars each or two for $15.
They're now in the brine for this weekend.
In the early '70s guys used to get about $7 -$10 per pelt and you could buy the meat for $2 a pop. I was told that the muskrat fur was popular to make hats, especially in...
OK! So not many people may care about this, but I have found muskrats for sale.
You either love them or hate them but, it has been a tradition on the Eastern Shore.
The meat is all dark and tender and soooo delicious!
Dayton's Restaurant on Snow Hill Rd in Salisbury, usually offers muskrat...
Yeah! I got the "wink, wink" vibe myself. That's why I posted. Like you said, some
lawyers may have a different perspective, but the Glock is on permanent loan and, at some point, will be inherited by me. It has been in my possession for a decade or more and I am not ineligible to own a handgun...
Update:
A lot of life happened after I wrote in these posts. But I went into The MSP barracks
a few weeks ago and asked for the forms to transfer the Glock 21 from my father to me, his son. I wanted to jump through the ridiculous hoops.
The SGT at the desk said that the forms are online only...
Oh! Heck Yeah!
That parking lot I mentioned had very bright dusk-to-dawn lights in the lot. I left work at 11pm, but the lights were bright enough that mother and chicks were running all around the lot as they snagged bugs while I was leaving at night. Big-fat moths would fly in circles until...
They LOVE to nest on flat-rocky ground. One place I worked at had a two-foot fringe of beach pebbles all around the parking lot. They laid eggs there every Spring and paid no attention to the parked cars.
They are pretty noisy when they aren't on the nest...
Thanks for the tips guys!
I used an Exacto and speared the pin (kinda by accident actually) and it just lifted right out. I was able to spare the pin and the sight (although I will probably never reuse them.) I then pushed the sight out of the slide from the bottom with the Glock tool by...
Glock sells night sights as an option (made by 3rd party.)
Maybe they sold them with the screw and just punched in the stock plastic sights?
I also wonder if the pinned sights are older than the staked sights...
