      Buy the gun with high capacity magazine. Have your FFL block it out to 10 rounds. Now your legal . I have done this 3 times on Gunbroker . Just contact selling to make sure they will send magazine .

      Legality of transferring firearm with Hi-cap mags (MD workaround)?

      I don't know if anyone has said this yet. You can sell gun with 10+ magazines if you have FFL block them out to 10 rounds. I have purchased two new hand guns with Hi-Cap magazines and the FFL blocked them to 10 rounds and gave them to me. The question I have is can I remove blocks.
