Bottom line is that Federal primers are the thinnest out there in terms of metal thickness of the cup. This means they seat easier and with less force. Also if you are a AR15 guy with the free flying firing pin you should notice that federal has a new primer just for you. It is a bit thicker...
I bought a cartridge gauge for 9mm from Lyman and use it to ensure that my pistol cartridges are SAAMI compliant. When I seat bullets I always seat them to max specification length. On the gauge I make sure that when I put a loaded cartidge in the guage its total length is the max allowed. This...

have a 243 AI with a 3 lug action so I am not so sure about how stout a loads you can handle. But I have had geat luck with 44 grains IMR4350 with 85 grain Sierra HPBT.
Sorry no experience with H or V powders yet.
I had been using the old tried and true method of using a lube pad for my bottleneck cases. Saw the Dillon spray case lube and got it to try.
I just line up the cases on a cookie pan and spray with the lube. Give it 2-3 minutes to evaporate and the case is coverd with a nice dry lube that...
cast bullet shooter for 10mm here. Have had a lot of experience with AA#7 AA#9 powder but have only used bullseye in my wheelguns. Wondering if anyone has any experience with using bullseye as published for 10MM or 40S&W. Would like to know if it is relatively clean when pushing past 1000 fps.
AS for me, I love the one shot case lube that is alcohol and lanolin. I just set my cases up on a cookie sheet (case bottoms down) and spray a few times. Wait 5 mins and the alcohol evaporates and lanolin film is left. So slick to size and it works great. get about 10,000 reloads out of a 8oz...
Here is a tip I learned the hard way.
I shoot a lot of 45 acp. On occasion I noticed that I would get a feed malfunction and I was sure it was something I was doing wrong. I have always taken sample cartridges after loading and checked that they cycle in my pistols. But what I leared was that...
Have now iused the redding bulge remover for 40S&W and really love it. I bought 1000 new starline cases and was having issues with cases after just 2 firings. Glock has always had an issue with how it fires without fullyu supporting the cases. Just wanted to know if using the buldge buster every...
Bought myself 3000 155 grain 40 cal SWC for my S&W. from midatlanticbullets.com wanted to get sharp with it as I feel very comfortable with 9mm but my 40S&W skiils are waning from no solid range time.
I really like the quality of their cast bullets. have found many people use them in PA at...
Tried it in my 22-250 and .223 and have come to the conclusion that its only working for me where I have a lot.....read A LOT of rounds going downrange between cleaning. Had one session where I shot 500 rounds through my AR on a trip and was just lazy about cleaning. Seemed worth it there.

I really like their quick change threaded die holders. Best investment I ever made was to get 15 or so of those and have them now on all my pistol dies that I use regularly.
I can get 500-700...
