To shoot a double-action-only accurately, you have to practice a lot. If you only plan to shoot one or two times a month, you should get a regular double action, that way you can shoot it single action or double action. It is easier to shoot a gun accurately using it in single action.

If our great state on MD would allow me to carry a pistol around all day it would be a plastic compact one. For one to last me for my lifetime it would be a full size steel one. They are both great guns, they just have dirrerent advantages.
A pipe cutter will make a clean cut but push a small ring of metal into the bore. You can use a rotatory burr or stone in a dremal or a variable speed drill and carefully remove the ring caused by the pipe cutter. A hacksaw will make a more rough cut but no ring in the bore. If you use a fine...
My second order has shipped, boy you guys get them out so fast. Other places take 4 or 5 days to ship and but not Joebobs, they ship everything in about 24 hours. Great work fellows. If you can order it, then that means they have and it gets shipped fast. Other places say we got it in stock then...
Do you know for sure how old the ammo was. I once had a 30.06 WW round split at the base like that but it was about 30 years old. Only one out of a box of 20 split. The Winchester 670 wasn't hurt but the jet of gas I got on my face scared the sh+t out of me.

First handgun shot was a Browning 22 pistol. The first handgun I bought was a Colt Trooper 375 6" revolver. Still got it and it is very accurate. With hot hand loads I use to be able to easily hit a silhouette target at a 100 yds. Now I am only good out to 50 yds.
My Father taught me to shoot before I started to school, about 4 1/2 or 5 years old, using an old Stevens single shot 22 in 1954, so I have been shooting for 58 years. At 6 years old he let me use the Mossberg bolt action 410 shotgun when we hunted rabbits. He gave me a Daisy lever action BB gun...
On the bed side table, a 357 revolver, first round bird shot, next 5 rounds hollow points. I have a 12 ga leaned against the head of the bed. I keep my bedroom dark with a chair in the door and I have night lights on in the rest of the house. If I hear something I can sit up in bed and see out...
You would think they would be doing this in America, the land of the free and the home of the brave, not in a country that is still almost a dictatorship. Boy O boy America has slipped down the slope a long way. The people in America will never know true freedom again.
I am 63 and disabled now, but I had a lot of jobs. I built Bull pens, Silos and feed-bunks. I was a bouncer at several bars. I worked in a textile mill and drove forklifts. Now I don't do much of nothing.
