      They are very similar. I believe they are made by Hakko too. Only very early Colt scopes were made by Realistic with the vast majority coming from the Japanese company. Colt Realistic for comparison:

      If you bought one used in this state prior to the 1994 registration requirement, it's perfectly legal for you to own with no registration, not even a 4473 if you bought it face to face.
