I had AA County take pictures of my special needs son on the school bus while he was school age , I found out and raised all kinds of hell . They ended up giving me all pictures with negatives and a letter of apology . That crap is not right , that was about 30 years ago .

    1. Congratulations to you for being great parents( and raising a future little patriots)
    2. I would suggest a blank room or outdoors when the student is required to use zoom.
    3. My children use Zoom for classes as well. I make them sit at the Dining Room table when they are online.

I am glad that the teacher was concerned about the young mans life and or heath.
A phone call from her or perhaps the Principle would have been a little less invasive on your families right to Privacy.
Keep us informed on the outcome.

You've got one week left. Disable video and refuse any requests to turn it back on. If it were my kid, they'd be done with school for the year on that note. The kids are all going to pass anyway.

Webcam Backgrounds, Take Back Your Privacy, and Vote Democrat's Out & All Elections matter, big & small it's usually these small elections that these freedom hating democrat school board, city council, mayors, police chiefs, etc and judges that legislate from the bench get elected, as well as bs ballot measures that trample liberty... Pay Attention in Non POTUS Election Years, Always Do Your Own Due Dilligence Research on everyone & everything on the ballot.

The education industry is filled with some of the dumbest bastards I have ever come across. I'm really going to hate dealing with them while my kids are in school.

They are not schools for proper learning anymore, they are Libtard Communist Indoctrination Centers, especially here in Marylandistan. We have a RINO grubbernor and a libtard legislature, with Mike Miller at the helm. He's a dyed-in-the-wool, hardcore socialist globalist of the First Order. She's fortunate to not have been "arrested". Some of those cops woulda had an orgasm over this crap.

    A) "Not without a warrant."

    B) Make them eat their own dog-food. File a complaint with the County school system, and run it up the chain to the State level. Document *everything*; no verbal phone conversations. Make them defend their statements with references to their policies. Make it a Constitutional issue - how the hell can a school system dictate policies that are in conflict with the US Constitution? If you don't want to engage a lawyer, engage one of the local radio or TV stations' consumer advocacy reporters. Might be the break he/she is looking for. This aligns with WMAL; less so with others. You also might consider writing your local Senator and Delegates.

You need to [metaphorically] blacken their eyes. It's the only response bullies comprehend.

"Senator and Delegates"? Surely ye jest? They're all (mostly) libtard dim0craps.

I believe you and your family have been harmed by the teacher and the school. I encourage you to contact an attorney to address this. Demand an apology and damages.

If they don't follow through, those Nazis will continue to do this to others as well, and it may not work out as well as it did with y'all. Do your duty, MDROB. Sue the nosy bastards.

Oops, I'd better watch out. I have TWO Red Ryders, and they're loaded, too.

I understand that we had every right to refuse them entry. However we had 3 kids at home and have always taught them to respect authority if you have done nothing wrong. We are a veteran family and love our country. We believe all police deserve respect unless the situation deems differently. We had nothing to hide and the officers were as annoyed as we were.

I understand what you are saying however I would have explained to the officers, that in this day and age I must ask for a warrant. This would be a learning moment for the kids as well as waste of a judges time because of a stupid teacher and principle. Asking for a warrant to come into your home is not being anti-police, if anything its being PRO police.

As friendly as the officer could potentially be when asking you for entry to your home, there is nothing good or beneficial to you that will come from allowing entry. No warrant no entry.

As has been said before and I will say it again "You can talk your way into jail". I agree with the above 100% No warrant, no entry, and I don't care if its my police relatives that might be asking for a look.

Denying police access, regardless of how pleasant the cops are, you can be equally pleasant when you say no, but turn the camera in your phone on.

"What is the problem? A complaint? Is there reasonable suspicion the police believe a law is being broken? I'm terribly sorry officer, but I cannot allow that without a warrant. I'm so sorry. House rules. My hands are tied. Have a good day!"

It does not have to be confrontational, or overly direct.

I decided years ago, that If the police ever want to "talk with me", they can sit with me on the front porch. We can talk about the weather... or the stock market... sports.

Yep. Lawyer time. Sue the crap out of the teacher on up.
I thank GOD each and everyday that I have no children.

If the "camera on" is "required" by the teacher, take a toilet paper tube and tape it over the lens. Adjust so the camera sees only a portion of the child's face. i.e., do not include hair or ears. Nose and eyes only.

Educators are out of Control and Intelligence

An absolutely outrageous violation of the Constitution, Police responding to a ridiculous non-credible complaint, and school officials and busybody know it all parents. This idiocy should have stopped at the initial call with NO PROBABLE CAUSE!! This country is run by over educated liberals with no concept of common sense or the real world.

In addition they haven't a clue about their nation, its history, and its Constitution. Unfortunately the world is being run by these nuts because the average american is too lazy and too dumb to understand there is no such thing as credible news and the LAST place you will find it is social media and the internet. If they don't like something they just lie about it and trample the Constitution. It is ridiculous.

As stated earlier, the cops could go get a warrant, and they could come back with Child Services, and they could take your children until such time as you prove to THEIR satisfaction that the child is safe.

The parents did fine, now they just need to follow through with a lawyer. I bet if a lawyer contacts the School on behalf of the parents, the tune will change and the school will end up paying for the lawyer.

Perhaps the complaint was filed by someone who thinks that gun ownership is a hate crime. I, sadly, must admit that some of my friends fit that description.

I agree with no warrant, not entry.

The fact that now OP would need to worry about a return with a warrant, possible CPS, or maybe a no-knock in the middle of the night with its dangers, means the police force needs to make changes to how they enforce the law.

And the school should be sued into oblivion.

DON"T let the cops in without a warrent...

There is respect for the authorities and authorities respect for your rights. I agree, I would ask what crime I was alleged to have committed. If the answer was "none" I would thank the police for their concern and not further waste their time or let them in without a warrant. What were they searching for, the lack of a crime?
