Hello, I live in Canada and am difficulty finding the parts listed below as well as a company that will ship to Canada.

Looking for the following parts for my “Star Model B” Hand Gun (not a Super B)

Magazine Catch Assembly OR the individual parts

    Magazine Catch Lock
    Magazine Catch Button/Pin
    Magazine Catch Spring

    Barrel Link

Sure someone out there can help me out. Thanks.

Parts are hard to find everywhere for the Star B pistols.
May have problems finding anyone willing to ship internationally. Guns and parts are prohibited in many cases without licensing and import/export expenses.
You might be able to find one in Canada just as easily and less expensively.

Thanks everyone. I’m going to try Apex Gun Parts. I have a friend in Minnesota that I can ship to and they will mail to Canada.

Tell us about owning a handgun in Canada, if you'd be so kind.

The Model A should have the same parts mentioned.
The BS is basically the same as the B, but I believe by the time the BS came out (1968) they had switched the magazine catch to a 1911-style retained by a camming screw. The earlier Model A and B have the push-button screwing directly into the catch, which is a straight bar on the right side. And can be a giant PITA to remove.

The Modelo Super (A) and Super B are much different as noted.

Regardless you need to be careful what you're asking for and know the proof date (year) of your pistol.

There are several people on gunboards.com that have Star parts.

Typical Model B catch (WW2 era to early post-war) is this what you have?

    Thanks for this info.
The pictures seem to be the same as mine.
I will go to the websites that you recommended and see what I can find.
