I posted a letter from MSP stating it is legal a couple of years ago. I also believe it is listed on the MSP website as a legal rifle.

The description from the website says:
"The barrel is a true SOCOM 14.5 heavy barrel with the iconic M203 flats under the Knights Armament Rail System."
    So who knows....

    Missed it by that much....

Just finished cleaning it all up. Previous owner added a KAC M4QD FH and Kac 300 micro rear sight . It’s missing the front swivel assembly (easy fix). 150 round count. I added the H-1 hope to hit the range Monday.

    Looks like a 6920 HBPW or a heavy 16” barreled 6920.

Edit: SOCOM should have come with a different rear sight, unless previous owner changed it. The muzzle device would have been pinned and welded, again, unless previous owner had it replaced. There were some early rifles with 16” heavy barrels and other early versions where the government property marks weren’t a thing. You may have an early one. Nice score!

From my limited knowledge the pictured rollmark is 2017 run...2018 added the gov rollmark. Im happy with it for $1500 in current times.
