Tapatalk removed from Google Play Store

Don't' know what this means long term but the Android app has been pulled. Not much news on this other than this: https://www.androidpolice.com/2020/10/24/tapatalk-has-been-pulled-from-the-google-play-store/

If it's going away, any alternatives?

I bet Google did this because Tapatalk gives you access to information Google doesn't approve of

This is what Google does

It systematically blocks access to speech contrary to their opinions

I use it on my phone because my old eyes combined with my reasonable sized 5” phone screen means I really have a hard time reading the mobile web version. I hope it’s not being scuttled for some reason.

They used to have a Microsoft Store App that was actually pretty good but Microsoft struggles in every way regarding its mobile platform products so I suspect Tapatalk canceled that development on their own to save cost.
