I'm seeking help with getting my HQL card:
I submitted application late may, and was approved 6/15. EMDSP says my license is active as of 6/15 and I have an HQL number.
However no card has arrived in the mail yet. Is this normal? The person above said it only took 4 days.
Also, I was training exempt, not sure if that matters. I also never submitted a photo or anything, is that normal too?
Very confused and frustrated by this whole process.

I see a lot of people mentioning a checklist. Can someone please post a link? I can't find that anywere on the emdsp site.

Click on the site, you went into to apply for your HQL. There should be a yellow highlighted hyperlink that says checklist. Its in the same box that has either pending or active for your HQL status.

Negative. Nothing there. Is there a certain browser that must be used?
Although since mine says active, does the checklist matter?

UPDATE: ALL my checks have been conducted, now just waiting for them to give me a HQL number and show Active. Any idea how long that takes??? I am on day 23.

From my reading on this thread 30 days seems around the norm. I'm on day 7 and nothing has been done yet.

UPDATE: I have now obtained my 2A rights smh.....Have my pistol paid for and now have to wait the 7 days..smh.all paperwork submitted. For them just to do another check smh Go Maryyland lol

Finally updated after almost 3 weeks. Still not done though...
21 Days from App to Approval
I was training exempt due to being a veteran.

- Application submitted on June 4th.
- Kept checking after 14 days and then saw the thread here on the "Catastrophic IT Hardware Failure" in the MSP datacenter so I reset expectations to sometime before Christmas.
- Said what the heck and checked it on 6/25 and while I was trying to remember how to get to the checklist, I saw that I had been approved. No card yet but at least the squirrel wheel in the datacenter is back in action.
