I mailed on Wednesday: only the names recommended and Mark. I hope at least this movement will send a message.

And I think that's just exactly what matters most at this point.

No carte blanche for board recommendations. It is apparent to me that it is going to take some time to figure out which cops we're going to need going forward to police the cops.

Oh, hey! I didn't realize I got a ballot - guess I've been wasting supporting Wayne's suits for the correct number of years.

I voted for 8 names, including Mark Robinson.

Some other possible names that come to my attention when reading through the nomination list are:

Linda Walker, (defeating Bloomburg claim got my attention)

William Carter, ("aggressive" gets my attention)

Clel Baudler, (helped change a "may issue" state to a "shall issue" state)

Anyone have any further opinions on these names?

Also, the savethe2a link with the recommendations...can someone summarize for me how these names were selected. Sorry I had problems navigating their links and formats.

The bios on the ballot will tell you. Some were added by a nominating committee others by petition of members

    Agree with Beo.

I'm surprised that this thread is not on fire .

If we can't be a part of change for an organization that is supposed to represent us, how can we change one that does not?

Here's a list for consideration. All these gentlemen have been recommended by various groups that I have respect for.

And remember, Do Not dilute your votes by just "filling in" 31 candidates, of whom you have no knowledge. Vote only for those demonstrably and vigorously on the side of 2A.

    Anthony Colandro
    Frank Tait
(Both recommended by everyone I've heard from)
    Graham Hill

    And top of my list-
    Mark Robinson

He's a powerful presence, who only came on the scene a short while ago. To see why I'm pushing him so hard, take four minutes to see him in action on his home turf. I believe he is now running for office. I've met him twice at PP events over the last year. (It won't take you the full four minutes to see what I mean.)
