Florida's governor Jeb Bush just stated in a news release yesterday that Florida's crime rate has dropped to their lowest level since 1971. His response to the anticrime was signing a bill that passed state legislation to allow CCW holders to shoot even if they feel threatened (I believe)
Washington DC on the other hand declared a state of emergergency due to the sudden increase in the wave of crime. (extremely restricted gun laws in place).
What more is it going to take to convince any Politician that law abiding citizens
will help reduce crime if they are allowed to carry a firearm? Criminals fear the law abiding citizen who carries a firearm! They don't fear the police because by and large they know where they are. They certainly don't fear the unarmed citizen who is just waiting to dial 911.
What is it going to take? Why is it so politically impossible for the left to make this change in society that is for the better. Gun laws mean nothing to a criminal
and gun demand is always high in DC not to mention Maryland.
