    Where they send me.
    Realized today that I should learn more about flare guns and don't have a good book on them. Are there any good books on them? Suggested resources to learn more about them and values?

    Good question...
    If you're into German flare guns then there are a couple of good books and one new one supposedly coming out soon (if not already).
    I'm not, so I don't have them.
    Other than that, not really.

    not a lot of action there but some good info - although the site format is really weird.

    oh yeah, there's a nice chapter in the Derby & Brown "Japanese Military Handguns" book that has a lot of details on the Japanese signal pistols & holsters.
