This is my first time loading coated projectiles. Am i really going to have to flare each case to seat them properly?

You need an M die, I was using an M1 Carbine flair die and that worked but the M die I was gifted (thx John!) works better cause it centers it cleanly.

BTW, I have done HiTek coating myself for 300BO and 9mm as well as purchased HiTek 9mm.
ITs no where near as good as Powder Coat and even the ones I purchased would come apart and lead one of my barrels (it had rough machining marks). IT did not shoot good in my G17 either.
For the 300BO, I gas checked the HiTek and it was fine. I know others have had good luck but I think its hit and miss IMO.

Well that's disappointing. I was trying to save some money by using cast but wasn't expecting an additional step. I guess ill pick up a m die to atleast load the ones ive already purchased. 308 im assuming?

And M die is very nice.

But you can chamfer and flare the case and load them fine.

I dont see a M die specifically for blackout. I know trigger mentioned the universal but I wont be using it for anything else. Will the 30 carbine M die work?
