    I was thinking only rifles.

    As stated before, first centerfire rifle was a Mini 14.

    First centerfire pistol was a Colt Mk IV Series 60 Government Model.

    First centerfire of any kind, was a Franchi 20 ga semi auto shotgun.

    Fire firearm was a single shot Remington 512 RF that I shot NRA badge program with. It was my Dad's when he was a kid.

    Fire firearm of my own, was a Marlin 99C with Weaver V22 scope, that was a Christmas present when I was 11 years old.

    Norinco MAK-90 with the ban-era thumb-hole stock (which I grew to actually like). Was going to pick up an SKS because it was cheaper, but a friend talked me into spending the coin for the AK. Had I known that I would wind up owning several of both, I wouldn't have stressed over the decision at the time :-)
