    On a hill in Wv
    Have a 500gallon propane tank that needs emptied near Taylorsville MD. Wanted to put it out there before we pay to have it drained in case anyone has the means and could use it. Takes as little or as much as u want.

    I've thought of this process for zombie scenario, doesn't the valve need to be at the bottom to get the liquid? I have (10) 100 lb tanks to fill for the winter, and a 500 gal. at the barn so I'm curious.

    I believe they have tubes that run to the bottom to pull or pump the liquid up , then a different connection point for gas .
    They are and can be at the top , i have never seen them at the bottom of tank .

    We use liquid nitrogen to purge gas lines at times and we use the gas side or ports . When you want to freeze something you use the liquid side or port .

    Here is a video of how one person transferred LP gas from a large tank to a smaller one. Over pressurization is a real concern and could cause death. Be careful if you try this.
