I use both Titegroup and Longshot for both my 40 Cal S&W and my 50 Cal S&W with good success.

Knock on wood I haven't had too much a problem with Titegroup. Burns a little dirty on the low end and I have to watch the measurement like a hawk. My problem is I bought 8 lbs of it two years ago and barely halfway through if that.

Smoke is non existent with these polycoated bullets. No leading in the barrel either. Its not just polycoated Blue Bullets I think there is a company that uses Hi Tek, any who I think that the coatings are similar.

Don't ask me why I am on this 38 Special kick but I am. For me this 147gr Blue Bullet is uncharacteristically a thumper coming out of a Smith and Wesson 637 Airweight.
