Great choice. If you want something similar to the wave feature, Wise Men Company offers something they call a fang for the para 2. I have one with their signet ring as well. Nice little setup.
Or if you want a cheap option just put a zip tie on the thumb hole. That's what I did and it worked well.

Delica 4 is my EDC knife. I bought a PM2 and fell in love with it as a backpacking blade. I switch between the PM2 and a Benchmade Griptillian for backpacking.

I like one size up from the Delica, called the Endura. Super light, good steel, quality stuff.

I have a Para 2 that I love but don’t want to be brand myopic...what’s the logical next tier up? ZT?

The new para2 arrived today and first thoughts: much larger than expected, amazingly light (a plus), excellent fit and finish, and really fits the hand well. Plus, the emerson wave is on the blade. Very very happy with this guy.

I've carried an Endura for probably 10 years. It replaced my 93mm Rescue as an EDC.

Where did you get that? I can’t seem to find a Para 2 with the wave.

I have three of the Salt series and fourth not pictured, A Tasman Hawkbill with the H1 steel.

I like that the Hawkbill works best on line/rope with a pulling stroke. Good on the boat.

I like the yellow and orange handles so I can find them once I lay them down (same reason I buy Dewalt stuff...lol)

The smaller ones have blades <2.5" which allows me to carry them in the Fed building I work in.

FWIW, take the clip screws out and reinstall them with Loctite.

Additionally - Active Duty & Retired Military, LEO and First Responders get a 50% discount from Spyderco.
