Does anyone have any advice for stores in Pennsylvania that will order magazines for people in Maryland? Aim surplus has a bunch of VZ58 mags on sale, but all my go to stores in Pennsylvania don’t have them in and say they can order them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I think a better idea than asking here would be to simply pick up the phone and call stores in Pennsylvania and ask them. I mean look at it this way, you can go in to any gun store in Pennsylvania and buy any magazine you want and walk out and drive it back to Maryland and everything is perfectly legal. I don't see why a gun store owner in Pennsylvania wouldn't order you magazines but it can't hurt to ask.

personally I have a friend who lives in Pennsylvania who does my buying for me. I simply send him money through one of the quick payment options like PayPal send him a link and the quantity that I want and he orders them for me and then when they come in I get to go up and see him for a while it works well. I usually take his girlfriend some berger cookies..

I bought my VZ58 years ago before Owe Malley banned the hi cap mags as he called them. I got two with the rifle. I bought at least three more in PA. There are many gun shops there or catch the York gun show. I also have seen the 30 round VZ58 mags on sale this past week from emails . Also if you have a friend or relative in PA. then get them sent there while you can. Fun rifles to shoot for sure.

I tried a couple, but they all won’t order from AIM, and tell me they’re supplier can’t get them. I wish I had a friend in PA, that way I could have them order them. Was trying to see if there were any stores that would though. I bought from Condition one last year, but it appears they’re folded

UPS stores in MD will have NOTHING to do with any gun parts.
I was shipping a barrel out and went to drop it off at the "UPS Store",, you would have thought I dropped my pants.
The 2 women started yelling at me and demanded I get the "Gun" out of the store.

True, you have to go to a UPS Customer Center to ship firearms.

That’s weird, I shipped an AR pistol upper to my son in KY, the week before Christmas. All I did was creat the shipping label, pack the shipment, and drop the shipment off at the Clinton MD UPS Store. The only question asked, “do you need a receipt?”.

Probably best not to admit that. :innocent0

There are rules. Maybe stupid, but...

There ar no rules prohibiting parts shipment via UPS, that I’m aware of. If you have a link/reference, please share. The last thing I wish to do is not follow the rules.

Have them shipped to a friend or relative in a neighboring state and pick them up there.

Set up a private mail box at a UPS store in a neighboring state and have them shipped to your private mail box.

Also Freedom Armory in Glen Rock (exit 8 off interstate 83) will accept magazine orders for you for a $10 fee.

If there is something you find online, it is definitely worth it to look into sending it to a UPS store out of state. You don't need a box at the UPS store to have your packages sent there. Buy the magazines online and put the shipping address for the UPS store in PA you want to pick them up at. They charge $5 to receive a package for you without a box. Keep in mind some of them also charge a $5/day storage fee. So if you pick up the package the same day it gets to the UPS store location you pay $5, if any days after that then $5 per day extra. I would definitely call the store you want to send them to to make sure they will accept it and to see if they charge the storage fee, some of them have picky rules.

Yeah, a few years ago I had some items shipped to the UPS store in Shrewsbury, PA with no issues. I had my MD billing address on the order, and the shipping address was my name with the UPS Store's address. There was a small fee for them to receive the package but it wasn't a lot.
