Want to have a bowl of spent cases on one side and a bowl of chips on the other side with my ass on the couch and leisurely deprime cases. Will the aforementioned tool fit the bill? The brass I'd be working with ranges from .380 to .308.

P.S. I searched the forum but found nothing.

I haven’t handled one, but the online reviews say the collets are fragile.

A Lee hand press is a little more versatile, and about the same price. Add a universal decapping die and you can do everything the Frankford depriming tool can do plus almost everything a bench mounted single stage press can do. I keep one for traveling. I do a lot of case prep while watching tv in hotel rooms and at my 2nd house in Kansas.

I have one and it will do the job. My only complaint is the little primer catch vial attached onto it likes to come loose and scatter a bunch of spent primers everywhere. Get ready to use two hands for heavily crimped military brass especially ones caked in primer sealant.

See the thread on the Lee APP in Reloading.

I got one with the press stand.

Lives in the living room. Decap and swage cases while watching TV.

I have been using a Lee hand press for 20 years doing this exact thing. The press, a universal decapping die and shell holders are all you need. :party29:

Thanks gents. Ordered the Frankford. Looked for the Lee but the two places (Midway and ?) I looked they were OOS. Hit one place in stock but $110+. I used Amazon so free shipping/returns. I'll use it and return it and keep my eyes open for the Lee. I like what it offers.

    THIS! it works
LEE hand press is super useful and I highly recommend adding it to your equipment.

I love this set-up. So fast. This video (skip the first 90 seconds) gives an idea ...
