I have a 1970 PPK/S in .380 imported by Interarms. These older ones really had some nice bluing on them:

I can't bring myself to shoot it though because it's probably never had more than one box of ammo through it. For shooting I use a 1966 PP that has some wear on the finish. It's in .380 too:

Umm... yeah, that adds a different context to the original question :-)

    Happy hunting.

Haha thanks! I guess I made a bad assumption on that part putting in the IP forum. Maybe should’ve dropped it in the WTB section but was hoping to give my money to an IP.

Not the most comfortable gun to shoot but still a nice pistol. I actually bought one used and it broke shortly thereafter. I sent it back to Walther and they sent me a brand new pistol. Said the other one couldn't be fixed so they just replaced it no charge. It was probably about 4 years old at the time. Both pistols were made by Smith and Wesson under license of Walther.

I have a few pre-WWII PPK commercial models in 32acp. They're a delight to shoot.

I have an Interarms import from around 1976 in 380;rather unpleasant snappy recoil, and if you limp-wrist it you get stovepipe jams. Pretty, though.

I have a beat to hell German PPK in .32...1944 I believe? Bluing? What's that. Still shoots like a champ though - very accurate little gun.

Nearly mint condition, bought it from United in Rockville, it was posted on MDS. SquareGrouper disapproves but is also jealous at the same time. It should be a C&R next year. Made in West Germany - Waffenfabrik no doubt.
