Yes, it's Bear Creek Arsenal, but they have great customer service and if the upper is reliable, this is a golden deal. 10 round magazines for $14 as well.

6-7/8", 10.5", and 16" barrel. They are all side charging so something to consider if you are going for a functionally identical upper for training.

I just ordered a 16" if it works out well, I'm going to get a 10.5.

I'm tempted to get the 10.5" for a complete polymer "other" lower I've had naked for years.
    Reviews aren't inspiring.

Will their barrel connect with a CMMG barrel adapter?

A lot of grumbling about BCA. But yeah, I think a 22LR would be more difficult to screw up.

Shot one of their uppers. First magazine the gas block blew off the end. Who knows where their parts come from and their assembly QA seems non existent. But that's what you get I suppose

PSA is better but not much more money really

I just ordered the pistol upper. I have used Bear Creek barrels over the years and find that they are worth the money and do what they are supposed to. The only one I had to do something with was a 8 inch 300 blackout that I needed to enlarge the port on. Now, since I don't shoot postal matches or NRA High Power anymore, I am not looking for minute of nat accuracy. I know I can get 2 inches at 100 yards with my 8 inch 300 blackout and I find that to be quite acceptable. ;)

Sorry I just saw this. I bought one. Comes with a CMMG 10rd mag. Mine was an abysmal failure. Mine couldn't cycle more than a round or two. Accuracy on the rounds that actually fired was pretty decent. But it sucked big time. I sent it back for a refund. Currently awaiting my refund.

Did you do any polishing of the bolt, extractor etc.? Is the bolt face and extractor similar to CMMG's?

If I recall, it is a completely different system than the CMMG. I did nothing to it but lubricate the moving parts, and attempted to break it in. I tried 3 types of ammo, which all fed and fired ok from the 15-22.

I just bought it to work. I didn't want to mess around with it. My Chiappa Rak 22 failed. Then this BCA .22 upper failed. My Grizzly Defense .22 AK conversion failed. All different failures, unique to the item, using ammo the S&W 15-22, and my Marlin 60 run fine on. I have learned my lesson. If I can get my money back on this turd I am just going to buy another 15-22 and be done with it.

    Have you guys tried CCI?
I can say this in my rimfire time that CCI rims are flatter and Remington is one of the worse and rounds out sooner. If I ever have extraction problems (stove pipes etc) I switch to CCI.
I have only had a few that I have had to do that to though.
I know I have only shot CCI SV and Minimags from my CMMG so can't say if I had same issues with other ammo.

I note that on BCA site, the AR15 22 magazines are all CMMG

Exactly what I would expect from BCA. A buddy of mine bought four uppers from them a while back, two in 7.62x39 two in 300BLK... the 300BLK just flat out wouldn't work. Sent back numerous times, all came back with issues, wouldn't cycle, gas block coming loose, etc. Ended up sending back for refunds. The 7.62 uppers, it was 50/50... one ran great, no problems. The other started to have cycling issues after second magazine. Sent it back, got another dud. Sent it back, finally got one that will shoot.

With wasted ammo, times going to post office back and forth yada yada I would stay away from anything BCA.
