None, get a federal Curio & Relics license. Then buy it and have it sent to your door.

Note that they are currently out of stock.

Current price seems to be about $350 on the on-line auction sites.

Original magazines are quite pricey - about $100. Current built magazines are available directly from Zastava for about $25 each.

If you hunt around you can find ammo online.

Unless the gun is old enough to be C&R (some are - some aren't) you'd need to do full Maryland paperwork, waiting period and you'd need your HQL if the gun was not C&R.

Or get your C&R FFL-03 ($30 for 3 years) and have a C&R eligible gun shipped direct to your home. There is a AG letter that states that if you import a C&R gun into Maryland using a FFL-03 license there is no need to register the gun - so no Maryland paperwork. If the gun is transferred within the state standard Maryland paperwork would be still required.

Does a designated collector letter cut it? Or is there a C&R permit one needs.

I know a guy that has a few at yester-years prices, Atlantic was only for example.

Designated collector = Maryland MSP, more than 1 handgun per month.

C&R = Federal 03 FFL, as long as its old, buy as much as your wallet can afford.

Though not from Atlantic. I’ve heard they’re good guys, but they are located in Maryland. So they cannot ship it to your door if you have an FFL-03 and also live in Maryland. The transfer would have to occur over state lines.

F-ing stupid. But it is what it is. For Atlantic you’d have to have it shipped to your FFL-01, 77r and 7 day wait. Even if C&R if the regulated firearm is located in Maryland already. You wouldn’t need an HQL though. If the specific copy is not C&R, then it must be through your in state FFL-01 (local gun store) and you’ll need an HQL, 77r and 7 day wait.

United gunshop in rockville always has C&R pistols on the shelf. They keep an open thread on current inventory with pics and prices.

I dont have hql yet and bought a c&r pistol from them a few months back. Went in and got pin from msp online and did 7 day waiting period. Thats it. Nothing special. If it’s c&r then you dont need to have HQL to purchase it.
