Overturned a Felon in Possession case. 2A Rights restored.

If you meet the terms of probation, an extended sentence in the probation is not a disqualifier of your 2A rights.

    US v. Hilleland: https://law.justia.com/cases/federal/appellate-courts/ca10/21-3063/21-3063-2021-11-29.html

Any takers that can challenge MD/another Circuit on this?

My 2 cents is that at a minimum, the law needs to be changed that it should be the actual SENTENCE is what matters for determining if something is prohibiting. But at the very least, yeah things like fines or PBJ IMHO should never be disqualifying, even if the crime could be 1yr felony or 2yr misdemeanor.

If people are that dangerous, they should be locked up. If you get a PBJ, there is no judgement. Nothing is adjudicated, technically, is it? How can you abridge a right based on that?
