Yep that’s my understanding. I may have one other can I want to get but doing it in the trust would be a pain now because my wife and one other person would need to get fingerprinted.
I guess I could just buy that one as an individual.
Or I could just stop buying more gun stuff lol
Trying to reduce the amount of stuff I have that doesn’t get used a bunch.

Yeah I was thinking that too until SiCo just released their EVO can. Looks perfect for hunting. Seems to suppress as well or even a fraction better than my Omega 300. Half an inch shorter and about 2oz lighter than the minimum weight configuration of my Omega 300 (it lists 14oz, but that’s with the brake, not a plain end cap. It’s like 12.8 with a plain end cap).

And if SiCo does their BoGo deal next year, you can add a Warlock for the price of a tax stamp…and it would be kind of nice to have a dedicated suppressor for my Buckmark and one to live on my 10/22 rather than needing to swap my Element 2 between them.

Thats what I was asking about when I read the same in the ATF email. I was thinking they might want digital docs direct from the electronic scanners SilencerShop/etc use. (I don't know what file format those are even in or if there is a common standard.) If they'll take scanned prints, thats pretty easy.

Now that you say that, "electronically" maybe could mean electronically the way prints are submitted for other things (Live Scan). All the main vendors have software that converts FD-258 hard cards to the "Electronic Fingerprint Transmission Specification" (EFT) sent to the FBI (you can google it)- which is just a different file format like png jpg or pdf. That is what the ATF does with all those hard cards, they stick it in the scanner and convert it. It shouldn't matter whether its a hard card or pdf that they send to the conversion software, except that a bunch of boomers **** up scanning their own prints, or the ATF did not pay to have that installed lol.

Either way, its a major upgrade. Silencershop can send the ATF prints electronically in the correct format, and there are many vendors that can convert your hard FD-258 for submission in the FBI format.

So, I have not used this website since doing form 1's back in 2016/17
Then later to get duplicate copies of the PDF stamps.
Is my username/password going to have to change or be redone or anything like that?

I bought a can last month at a local shop with a Silencerco kiosk. Got an email today from Silencerco that I had to certify my form 4 at the shop. Called the shop and they said not to worry about it. Anyone else get an email like that?

You don’t have to certify in person if it’s on a trust. Regular individual transfer is in person only. Just make sure you know your PIN and all your info is the same on everything.

The only thing I did at the kiosk was my finger prints. Everything else was done on a cell phone app and my computer. This may be something new associated with the Eforms system.

Mine is an idividual transfer. I don't have an account with Silencerco yet. The link to make on won't open in their email. I'll keep trying

Got a call from the shop and they told me to come on down. Got logged on to ATF account and certified my form 4. Had an Email from ATF when I got home saying form 4 is submitted.

I think they will be sending email updates as things progress. It's all new to everybody, the shops, ATF and us buyers.

Should make thing much easier in the long run.
