Says that the stock is detachable. If you gonna do that, make the stock double as a holster, broom handle Mauser - style. When going for ridiculous, at least double down on it.

I found the barrel for one on a gunshow table full of 1911 parts years ago. I believe it was in York. Seeing the long barrel with obvious 1911 lugs and link attached I had to ask WTH is that?

A gun store here in Frederick had one of those by Iver Johnson a couple of years ago...it didn't last long before someone bought it (not me...wasn't interested). It's a novelty at best...but if someone wants it more power to them.
Aside from size, it looks like the perfect tackle box gun. It could even double as a paddle or even an impromptu rudder should your boat engine become disabled. 
If you're lost in the woods, you could tie a bright cloth to it and wave it on the air to attract rescuers.
Not for me, but if I could attach a bayonet to it, then I would be all-in

That thing's likely to be unreliable enough without hanging a bayonet on that reciprocating barrel. Ask Melvin Johndon about that.
