The picture shows a Hong Yeng high pressure compressor (4500 PSI) and associated plumbing to charge the red scuba tank or any of my PCP air rifles. The white bucket contains a coolant made of distilled water, antifreeze and a wetting agent for maximum cooling. The canister with the blue beads is the pre drier that dries intake air going to the compressor and the smaller black and gold steel containers are HP water and oil separators.

How often do you have to dry the gel? I'd assume once it is saturated you need to bake it off or replace.

I won't know that until summer when the humidity gets up. My experience with other projects with similar size desiccant containers was maybe once a quarter. It only takes an hour in the toaster oven at 250* to dry it out once it starts to go pink. If you let it go until it has all turned pink, it will take about 2.5 hours at 250*.

I’m preparing to setup my cart how’s your setup doing? I’ve had an almost 5 month hiatus in shooting my air rifles. Still have my YH new in box with royal purple but I wanted to get better pump and longer airlines

It's doing well. I used it a couple of times over the holiday period and really like the fact that it has quieted down quite a bit. The desiccant indicator beads haven't changed color at all but after all, it is winter.

The pump I used I bought at home depot. It was for water fountains and used half inch hose. I drilled out the fittings on the pump, and while still not half inch, they are letting more volume through than the original. I use a mixture of anti freeze, distilled water and water wetener and it runs about 125F.

When I made my air drier, I used a 4 inch 5/16 1/4 NPT nipple to screw into the intake hole where the bronze sintered filter was. It made it easier to hook up the line from the air drier and allowed me to position the air drier on the table leg for easy servicing.
