I found a Beretta 92fs at my local gun shop and I plan to buy it but I only shoot cast bullets. Are cast bullets ok in this gun?
Thanks

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but, as long as the barrel doesn't have hexagonal rifling, cast bullets are OK. Beretta 92fs should be fine with cast bullets. HK VP9, not OK with cast bullets.
I think you mean polygonal rifling. Polygonal can work fine. Most of what I’ve heard are old wives tales because Glock does (or did) out in their owner manuals not to shoot lead in them.
A lot a lot of guys shoot lead in polygonal rifled guns. The closest I’ve seen to maybe a real concern is shooting FMJ down such a barrel after extensive shooting cast causing over pressure. I’d just say clean a barrel after shooting a ton of lead. Or shoot a bit of copper every once in awhile.
