    Another +1 on the Thermite. I got a 3880BLK and carry it daily at work. Its a great knife, and right at a price point if you loose it at work you're not going to be too pissed.

    At all other times I'm carrying a ZT 0400 Scavenger. I'm a big fan of KAI knives.

    Wow! That looks like a great value for the money. I'm partial to the Spyderco Tenacious lineup though. As far as 8Cr13MoV is concerned, it'll work but will readily dull on you. Plan on daily stropping, and even carry a pocket stone if needed. Even though 8Cr edge holding isn't great, it is fun, and will take a scary-sharp edge willingly and easily.
