    My hog gun
    9" AAC upper/762SDN
    SWFA 1x4

Shoots super and subs with ease. I'm having a hard time finding decent subs that it likes. No feeding problems, but the groups suck. Does fine with supers/suppressed.

I'm going AAC upper too. Really nice setup you have there.

Just make sure that AAC actually secured the gas-block.

I know someone (on this forum) that had that issue.

To their credit, they took care of it pretty quickly once the issue was discovered.

Never tried Lehigh Defense. They're in stock, but at $50 for a box (of twenty, I assume) I won't be trying them any time soon, either. I need to let my bank account recover.

I'm going to start reloading as soon as I settle a little. I have a press and plenty of brass, just need to get started (probably with 5.56 until I get the hang of it).

They aren't for plinking that's for sure, but it is a damn fine round for accuracy. I am trying to find a decent round to plink subsonic. I hope to get some SMK's and reload them.

    Good luck reloading.

I built mine bottom up. Great supersonic. I actually purchased an adjustable gas block. I can tune it to either super or sub sonic rounds without a can attached.

Match grade trigger from geissele, match Wilson combat barrel, bravo company BCM, AAC flash hider with screw on can option.

Word to the wise: pick a round and stay with it. It isn't like a .223 where you throw anything in and run. Your gas return, recoil extension and pressure collection matters huge. I have essentially stuck to PNW Arms 147gr HPBT round as my hunting grain of choice. From there I can feed as low as 110 VMAX or up to 155gr match.

If you want a good heavy bullet for subsonic plinking, you could look for the Hornady 220 interlock. They're around 30-ish per box of 100. bout half the price of SMK's. Granted, the BC is complete shit, but it's for plinking. ;)

225gr Hornady Match is what I bought in bulk for sub plinking for the reloads. Never could get sub-moa with the Aimpoint PRO, but it definitely had potential if a proper optic was employed.

My Noveske Pistol gas barrel will run absolutely any load I feed it. I even reloaded some below SAAMI and they still cycled the action.

Mine. Cheapest components I could find except hand guard and stock. Scope is total junk and is going to be changed. Rifle impressed me with it's accuracy. I haven't shot it a whole lot but easily kills groundhogs at 125yds. Can in the future.

That's the bullet I use for my sub handloads. I load them for .38c a round and they perform great. Combined with 10.7gr's of Accurate 1680 they function 100% out of my 8.2" Noveske barrel suppressed or unsuppressed with a milspec buffer spring and H2 buffer.

I would love to find and try some Hornady 195gr BTHP, it appears they suspended production temporarily. May try some of 208 BTHP's in the meantime.

I took it hunting this year. It was devastating on the hogs. It is much more pleasant to shoot and you get a very good opportunity at 2nd-3rd shots if you have a group of hogs around with the 300. I just recently SBR'd this rifle and can't wait to try it out next time I go hogging,

Where do you go hogging, I am looking for ppl to hook up with and do some myself, I just went hunting with my self built 300 last Nov and got to deer.

Near Del Rio, TX (Southwest Hill Country). I am trying to find something on/near the East Coast to go, preferably a state where you can night hunt. I hear the Hogs are starting to establish themselves in VA.
