As a city resident, I have to admit that I agree with you MS.

    Thugs policing thugs.

Problem is that for every 1 that gets ended, another 1 takes his place.

    Cockroaches man.

You may "pish-poff" thug killing thug all you want, but the politcians use the numbers to bouy support for more 2A infringements - cause what they did isn't working, have to go further.

Of course we know it ain't guns, but the voting sheeple just swallow what their political masters feed them - its easier and they don't have to think of real solutions.

There's not a whole lot more that they can do short of a total ban, which they obviously can't do. Sure they'll keep nibbling around the edges.

I used to be in your camp in thinking that the violence and killing was a scourge and embarrassment to our city. Now, having lived here for a few years and seeing the flaccid and utter inability of the police to solve the problem, I am a convert to thugs policing thugs.

Exactly. This is what the politicians want.

In fact, it kills two birds with one stone:
    1. It rids society of the sludge without the police and judicial system having to deal with it; and

    2. It gives an excuse for more 2A infringements.

From the Dem masters' point of view, what's not to like about that? In fact, they probably planned it that way.

Exactly why this shouldn't be on the NRAs radar...they unknowingly are stirring the gun control pot..let the thugs keep killing each other..

The vast number of these killings are thug on thug and I am good with it. If you go pointing out the gun violence to libs in Assapolis they will see another opportunity to infringe...So let the sacrificial lambs keep slaughtering each other...

While I agree with you on some level, the reality is that a lot of innocent people's lives get destroyed in the process as well. Capitulation to evil doesn't bring us salvation from it.

Let's not forget the money to be made by defense lawyers out of all this. It's not chump change, by any means.
