About a month or so ago, the second handle broke on my 30 year old brass/media separator broke. I wrote a letter to RCBS asking if I could BUY the media basket only.

About two weeks ago they sent me a message and said they will work on it but everything is slow, so be patient.

Today a big box shows up, that wasn't ordered by my wife.

Once I look at the label I realized that RCBS had sent me a basket. Upon opening it, I found that they sent me a whole new media separator! :party29::party29::party29:

Now here is a company that stands by its warranty weather you ask for it or not.

years ago I lost a part on my Chargemaster when I moved. I called them up told them I lost it and asked how much to get another one, Lady on the phone asked for my address and I asked again how much she said free. I even asked to pay for shipped and she said it was on them. I couldn't believe it. I always buy green RCBS stands behind their products and you.

The only RCBS tool I don't use much is my Electronic scale. Why, because the damn thing takes too long to calibrate before using it. My little Frankford scale is almost as accurate (to .1 grain) and it calibrates in a nanosecond.

RCBS their customer service at one time was on par with Dillon. The quality of the products has always been excellent. Lee is hit or miss depending on the item.

I have used RCBS since 1990. But when they quit making dies in Oreville, CA I quit. I have gotten two sets of dies that scratched or cut into my cases.

I now have switched to Hornady dies.

I have had great service from Lee.

At one point I wanted to run a Factory Crimp Die in my 650, but also wanted to use the case counter.

I contacted Lee about the cost to to get a few of the adjustment pieces with a hole through them.

Their answer was to send me 5 with holes in them.

I have yet to take advantage of RCBS's legendary customer service, but it's the main reason I went with RCBS when I bought a vibratory tumbler. Because of the nature of what it is, those can fail here and there, and I've heard so many awesome stories about RCBS and their customer service that I specifically chose green when getting my tumbler. They are right up there with Dillon when it comes to taking care of their customers.

FWIW, my tumbler is still rolling like it was new, 8 years later.

Some people might think I'm nuts, but except for my Hornady 9mm dies that I got for cheap on a deal-of-the-day kind of thing, all of my other dies are Lee. By choice. I use a Lee Factory Crimp Die for every handgun cartridge I load, including 9mm.
