    Can I buy an AR 15 in 308 or AR10 in MD off the shelf. Just pay and walk out the door. No heavy barrel, No wait, or stupid stuff. Yes/No. Thanks guys

    I guess what I am asking is if I go into a store and want to buy a an ar rifle that shoots 308 or 762x39 do I just fill the normal form out, wait for them to ok me and walk out of the store. Or do I need an hql , finger prints, training, waiting period all that bull shit.
    Can I just get approved right then and there, pay and walk out and no heavy barrel.

    Yes, you can. Just the 4473.

    Yup, I did it a few months back but got the dreaded "Delay" on the 4473 and had to go back a few days later to pick it up.
