High end dies take time and when you run cnc it's all about what you need to run the most/prioritize, so I'm sure he juggles that all the time... lol

Beautiful molds. Almost hate to use them.
    From top:

    #0 buck

    125 -> 135gr .311 HP

    395gr .502 arrow point

    525gr 12g (wad) sabot

I have a 12g full-bore sabot also, but it basically looks the same..

4 days from order to my front door, all the way from Slovenija..
Shipping was actually free because the order was over 299 euro

Has anyone had to contact MP-molds for CustServ? There are 2 emails on their home page, one for sales and one for miha. I read a review that CustServ sux so I imagine he does it himself in “spare” time ?

I just had a question because all my full bore 525gr sabots I cast, weigh out 630gr on average. I’m not sure if the web description is incorrect or if I somehow got incorrect pins ?

I did email miha, just waiting/wondering

While I like his molds, I have a couple that didn't meet the weight advertised. A .357 mold was supposed to drop a 135gn bullet. I don't know what alloy he measured that with but I can't make one over 130gns. My .22 PCP air rifle mold is supposed to be 47gns (he does say may vary according to alloy). I have not been able to get it above 42gns and that is with pure lead.

These weren't deal breakers for me. In fact, the lighter air gun bullet gives me more flexibility. In your case though, that is a humongous difference. His tech data lists it as 525 grains with pure lead.

Yes, thanks. I have Lee, Lyman, and Svarog and all drop diff weights from advertised and alloys, but this was unexpected ~20% diff that I gotta figure was too-small pins .. His wad sized sabots all averaged 520gr (wheel weights ) as I expected

Just picked up a NOE mold for some 300BO bullets, 225gr taco PB. Don't rule them out, they make molds on par with Miha. This is an aluminum 3 cavity (because everything else it out of stock... lol).

This for those who cast and I think it was here that this was discussed, as far as breaking in a mold. This from Night Owl as far as how to properly break a mold in.. it's not hard at all.

I have been using Swedes molds since he worked for his last company. I think they are some of the best out there. But, since covid, he has yet to catch up and a lot of items are out of stock.

Yes, that's why I settled for a 3 cav alum mold. I normally would not, but it will work fine, I just have to run another mold along with it to give it time to cool. That's not a problem, I always need more 9mm or 45 boolits.. lol

I am waiting for my can, probably another 3-4 mos (I'm July of last year eformed), so I have time to run some bullets and get them loaded up to add to my collection of 300bo subs.

I want another 4 or 5 cavity 300 BO mold but I don't think they are high on his priority list. There used to be a lot of people casting their own supers when the 300 BO first came out. I don't think there are as many making subs.
