    New guy here, originally from Michigan, now I've got the survival/protector bug and trying to get back into hunting here in MD. I think my wife may take some convincing on further gun purchases (sound familiar to anyone?) so I may have some questions on sources and models.

    *I'm loving some of your 2A quotes, by the way. Some solid ones new to me from Jefferson and Franklin (I used to be a liberal. Haha)

    Welcome from another Catonsville dweller!

    Consider having your wife come out the Women On Target clinics or the Wednesday evening women's shoot at the Associated Gun Clubs of Baltimore. Patty West (pskryja@gmail.com) holds an informal women's shoot every Wednesday (alternates between pistol and rifle). A good way to ease your wife into accepting firearms!

    Welcome from around the corner in Halethorpe! Same wife problem for me. Getting her to understand the difference between a $200.00 scope and a $1,200.00 scope is a very tough sell.

    Thanks for the warm welcome, guys. Great links and tips already! And I may need to come home with a freezer-load of venison before my wife's more comfortable. At least she's not opposed, huh? That's a good start.
