Does anyone make a one-piece stock for the AR to make it look like a "sporterized" rifle, e.g., Saiga?

Bell and carlson . ASI makes AR15 thumbhole stocks

If you mean Dragunov style, then no. IMO, the best-looking "sporterized" AR-15s use these buttstocks:
    1) standard A2
    2) Magpul MOE rifle
    3) ACE skeleton

If Frosh has his way it will be a one feature test with thumbhole stocks banned. A Beretta CX4 Storm would be considered a WMD ASSAULT WEAPON DEATH MACHINE MASS MURDERING EBR. All because it has a detachable mag and a thumbhole stock. One feature = do not pass go.

Imagine a "thumbhole" stye stock, only the "hole" wasn't really a hole at all, but instead a deep, closed thumb pocket.

Same function as a thumbhole, but without the actual hole. That would defeat it right there.

Or, just do what I'm gonna do - say "F*#@ You, I'm owning whatever I want.

Check this out? Could this be a way of eliminating or ameliorating a future ban on "evil" features, e.g., pistol grip of the AR? A work around to an AWB? They are legal in Maryland's twin communist Republic of California...

The problem with that stock is how low the butplate is. It would be ok shooting from the standing position, but you would never be able to shoot prone with it.

Might work if you turned the collapsible portion upside down.
