Sorry, but even if Sykes was exhausted I just don't see him losing the opportunity to take the massive windfall from the Covid buying spree. It is like standing in your store all year long, paying your rent, as customers trickle in -- but closing the week before Christmas.

I think this is all an intentional slow walk starting with the retirement and now these insane delays and guns sitting in PO boxes at USPS, being returned to sellers and going everywhere except into other hands of the legal and qualified buyers who purchased them.

Lets not forget that lots of jurisdictions have tried to implement emergency measures including shutting down gun sales with quite a few openly saying it was not because of covid transmission risk in face toface gun purchase, but because they wanted to limit gun purchase during periods of potential unrest. There are government officials across the US who have said it is their responsibility to prevent and limit legal gun ownership during a crisis.

First available appointment to come into the FFL. June 24th. Yikes.

    Good luck tomorrow chen t!

I just got my call today to pick up my stuff.

First available appointment was Friday 6/26.

6/11 was my initial interview so 2 weeks for background check.

The biggest wait was waiting for DC to log firearms and setting up first appointment. That was about 1 month total.
