    Hello,

I've been thinking about picking up an antique percussion double. I see them in shops from time to time. Assume the gun will be a cylinder bore.

I'm familiar with the procedures for loading shot of various sizes. Are there any (reliable) sources online for shooting patched round ball or paper cartridges?

    Thanks.

    D.

I think OP is referring to muzzleloading with blackpowder .

From several articles over the years in Muzzleloader , it seems that back in the day, the usual method was undersized ball with wedding , rather than patched ball .

    That's right.
