    I know it's kind of snobby to say some people don't deserve certain guns, but I think it would be hard to dispute in this case. I feel like sending him hate mail.

    Well, on the other hand, "obrez" made from Mosin (very similar to what this guy did) became no less then a legendary weapon in Russia. It was widely used after October revolution in Civil war, it was used by partizans during WWII, etc. It also present in many Russian movies covering that time period.

    Finn makes that a semi bad decision. But the pros of the Finns (increased accuracy and the anti-jam magazine make sense) and at least it was done tastefully and not as much a hack job as it could have been. That said ill take 2.

    400 dollar gun, reduced to rubbish. Are you gonna pay him 400 plus the labor.. Sure he will sell you one for say 600.00:rolleyes:

    As someone who collects and tries to restore old milsurplus rifles to true form, this makes me want to buy an M39 now (has always been on my list) before they're all gone.
