While strolling the Arundel Mills Mall hoping to see some 12ga. Target Ammo out (after hearing an employee complaining about how it would take him all day to put out the ammo that came in), I found this little gem in the mall.....

Not affiliated in any way, just thought it was interesting.

ETA - Called Aim-Point and apparently there are two locations in the mall....

The one pictured,on the south side of the food court near Rack Room Shoes.

....and a second (may not be open yet, or I just missed it) on the north side near Ann Taylor Factory Store.

BTW - there was apparently one in a mall in Monkey County opened in 2019. It lasted a month before the Karen's got it closed down.

P.S. The stroll worked, I scored a flat of shells on the way back through.

Thats pretty cool, my youngest son just got his first air soft the other day. Do you rent guns there or can you bring your own?

I have seen it about 4 or more months ago when visiting Bass Pro. I think it is like a state fair when you purchase tickets and get a number of shots. No, I don't think you can bring your own. I did see a bunch of people in there shooting.

While I visit Bass Pro regularly, that was the first time in the Mall in over five years.....so yeah, maybe not brand new, but glad to hear it probably has survived longer than the Monkey Co. location.

The reason I was in the mall because I was browsing that bookstore "Book-A Millions". Just browsing the military/history/firearms magazines...lot of junks in that store.

Someone tried to open exactly that same franchise in a vacant retail store in Westfield Montgomery. Was open for about a minute before the Shrieking Eels at Mommies Demanding Some Action managed to bully the mall into closing down that purveyor of weapons of war trading kids to use machine guns to solve their problems blah blah.

FFS you Karen Harpies, it’s like a boardwalk carnival booth. Oh well.

I've been hoping that someone would turn the old Giant store in Edgewater into a paintball range. It would be a win win for the people and the county as it would bring more revenue that we sorely need since the Chinese flu drained our coffers.

I thought Anne Arundel county benefits from having Annapolis doling out money? Annapolis must look good for MD.

I think it would be feasible to use such a place for indoor trap

Hang big sheets of rubber loosely to absorb the shot and exchange air regularly

There was a indoor five stand facility in Coatesville, PA.

Had a two story five stand shooting stand on one end. I.e. a set at ground level and a second set approx. 10' off the floor. It had outgoing quartering targets from each inboard corner. Incoming quartering targets from outboard corners. Crossing rabbit target in middle from right. Crossing target from left. Building was protected by hanging overlapping Kevlar curtains down the sides, back, and off the ceiling. Think about shooting inside a Theater. You had to use their shells to eliminate the possibility of hot loads/large shot sizes that might not be stopped by curtains. They had two warehouses that were set up as Five Stands.

Went dark when the owner decided he could make millions turning it into a Guntry Club with totally @ssinine initiation fees and annual dues. Not smart in an area where every little town has a Fish and Game Association.

I would think Trap would be much easier to do, with targets all outgoing.

So some event organizers will actually like to hear this. Milsimwest (Airsoft Military simulation) holds events in abandoned buildings and everything (safety pending). I’d love to attend a game like that since I’ve seen them played in desolate malls. The events are pretty cool because of the large scale of which they can be held.

    Stopped in today...

You have to use their guns...AR style.

    $10/50rounds
    $15/85 rounds

.... didn't think to ask if they were auto capable.
