I guess I am simply goin to cave to Temptation (I have given it 60-hours now, after all :lol2:) and get that Lightweight 16” MLOK variant.

I have a Colt 16” HBAR Sporter I got after completing their Armorers course first time round and I refused to opt for one that had the Bush, Sr - Clinton era travesty engraving about “LE/Mil restricted” on it. In hindsight, that may have been a mistake (not the first or last last due to temper) and while it is very accurate in the 200-yard portions of highpower Rifle matches, the summabitch upper is HEAVY, haha!

So, I’m thinking I’ll slap this 16” Lightweight mlok on and use it for 3-Gun …. :innocent0

(“It’s the arrow and not the injun,” I do have that right, don’t I? )

16'' 1x7 Mid Length Light Weight Barrel Assembly w/ 15" MLOK Handguard

ETA: It is done. “Fees” on top of shipping and taxes are always a PIA. Hrumph!

    Hmm,
The Deltons heavy's all seem to be 1x9 twist?
Thoughts on the 16" carbine vs mid length?

did you buy the larue MBTs recently? Looks like they are now $118. If you paid 87 dollars somewhere I would like to know where. I've been planning to get one but they had been out of stock.

I had my Del Ton at the range last weekend and it seemed to shoot pretty well - I didn't have time (or ammo, for that matter) to really put it through its paces, but it seems to be a pretty solid rifle. Admittedly, I ditched the stock trigger that came with the rifle kit and installed a CMC 3.5 lb single stage, and I also dehorned the BCG.
