Good luck. I was planning to meet you two for dinner in Ridgeway but I’ve got a rider traveling home with me this weekend so I’ll just blow the horn as I go through town.

Round up of the eastern regional 22 shoot!

Gordon aka 45-70 in Maryland finished 2nd on day one. I’m positive he would have finished 1st on day one if he didn’t have an issue with his rifle.

On day 2 Gordon won his class by beating the guy that fixed his rifle.(I think Gordon’s spotter won the match for him)lol.

I was quite consistent shooting a 58 both days and finished 3rd both days In my class.

    Tuesday the main event starts!

How do you like that range? Its become my home range, was there 2 weekends ago. Use the electronic targets today? Wind can be tricky there for sure.

Very impressive range with friendly hosts.

Changing mirages & winds prove challenging.

We used old-fashion human shooters/target-scorers in rotation today. We kept 4 targets active from 0900-1530.

My first time to be downrange with large caliber BP bullets flying overhead and smacking targets. Everyone should get the opportunity to experience it!

The MDShooter Hooligans fared well at the 2021 BPCR National Championships at the Ridgway PA Range..

BigRick did really well for a newcomer to BPCR:

    • With his Shiloh 45-70 & Scope:
    o 7th in AA Scope;
o 1st in AA Scope; resulting in 2nd Aggregate AA Scope
    • With his Shiloh 40-70ST & Iron Sights:
    o 2nd in B Iron Sights
    • Won two Team Silhouette Trophies:
    o 2nd in AA Scope
    o 1st in A Iron Sights

    My summary:

    • With my Shiloh 45-70 & Scope:
o 6th; Tied for 5th in AAA Scope; lost shoot-off
o 5th; Tied for 4th in AAA Scope; lost shoot-off
    • With my Shiloh 40-70ST & Iron Sights:
    o 4th; Tied for 3rd in B Iron Sights; lost shoot-off
    • Won two Team Silhouette Trophies:
    o 2nd in AA Scope
    o 1st in A Iron Sights

Thanks for posting! Keep in mind that 4570 earned half of what I was able to do. He is my spotter, Coach and teammate and without him I wouldn't be having the success that I've had.
