Some of you guys may want to come and shoot AAF&G .22 two gun steel which we shoot on the forth Sunday of the month. We limit it to 24 folks so sign up in practiscore if you are interested. You need a pistol or revolver that will hold 10 rounds and the same with a rifle or carbine. Semi Auto, lever, pump etc., any and all are acceptable.

    On PractiScore, search with "AAFG"
    - NRL22 on 1/9, 2/13, 3/13 . . .
    - Rimfire Action (Steel Challenge) 1/23, 2/27, 3/27 . . .
    Lotsa fun.

Yes, we're keeping it simple this year. NRL22 matches will be held on the 2nd Sunday of each month. And correspondingly, Rimfire Action, i.e. Steel Challenge, will be on the 4th Sunday of the month.

Well, I bought a rifle (Bergara BMR) to come play with the cool (base class) kids. But I need advice on an optic! Athlon BTR Argos Gen 2 6-24X50, FFP, APMR IR - MIL or Vortex Diamondback Tactical FFP 4-16x44 EBR-2C (MRAD) or Diamondback Tactical FFP 6-24x50 EBR-2C (MRAD)? Prices are about the same and within the $1200 MSRP base class cap. Quite a bit less with discounts and shopping around.

I'll make next months match. I'll be last place, but I'll have the most fun.

What I have learned so far even with PRS is that I rarely go above 16x. I love my Athlon Midas Tac I would say stick to Mils though less revolutions for longer shots. It was a great match my first was a great group of guys and some neat toys

The Argos and Diamondback have the features you need at bottom end of the price point. For the same $450 MSRP, there's the Arken SH-4. I may have a NIB example below MSRP with rings and throw lever if you're interested.

The first I heard of Arken was a few weeks ago, but I’m interested. I think Jim mentioned them.

I get pretty significant discounts on both Athlon and vortex scopes. To the point where wonder who actually pays MSRP.

Is your Arken mil or MOA?

Do they typically do the sub 100 yard options from the NRL22 CoF or the ones that go out to 200?
