NO 3 Gun Match in September

In lieu of the 3 Gun Match, AGC Action Shooting is hosting a benefit for Gold Star Teen Adventures. All proceeds from this event will benefit children who have lost a parent in the line of duty. Please check out the GSTA webpage for more information or to find out how to donate to a great cause.

    Gold Star Teen Adventures
    https://gstadventures.org/

By the way, we have had 15,000 rounds of 9mm and .223 donated for this benefit, but we still need 2400 shotgun shells. We have not found a vendor to donate these and have been hitting the Walmarts everyday with no luck. If you would like to donate or sell some bird shot to the cause, then please respond to this email. We are in need of 1 1/8 oz 7.5 or 8's, 3 Dram (1200 fps min).

IDPA Match - Saturday, September 18th

    https://practiscore.com/agc-idpa-match-saturday-sept-18th/register

Thursday Night Practice / Fun Shoots

There will be 3 Thursday Nights this month - 9/2, 9/16. & 9/30. Sept 2nd & 16th, you can bring just about any gun you want. We will set up a 2-Gun focused COF and 1-2 bays for practice, based on what those in attendance want to do that night.

On September 30, we will have a rimfire only event. Bring any gun you want, as long as it is .22 LR.

No pre-registration necessary, just show up around 5 pm to help set up and be ready for a safety briefing by 5:30.

***AS SQUADS FILL UP, WE HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING ISSUES WITH SHOOTER BEING ABLE TO CHOOSE THEIR OWN SQUAD. PLEASE CHOOSE A SQUAD AS SOON AS YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED TO DO SO. IF YOU ARE UNABLE, THEN PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL TO MATCHDIRECTOR@AGCRANGE.ORG, STATING YOUR PREFERRED SQUAD. IF YOU DO NOT CARE WHICH SQUAD YOU SHOOT ON, THEN PLEASE DO NOT CHOOSE ONE AND WE WILL PLACE YOU WHERE WE NEED YOU THE MOST TO HELP WITH THE FLOW OF THE MATCH AND MINIMIZE LOGJAMS.

Signed up for Falling Steel! First time in a while. Looking forward to see if all that shooting practice actually works or not. :)

Kool Kids #1 and #2 squadded.
Mike- Would it be a pain to change my rimfire rifle entry to auto? I am curious to see how my times would differ between my VP9 and my new VP9L with a Vortex Venom. I wonder just how much difference the extra inch of barrel and an optic will do for me.
FWIW- I'm currently working better part of 7 days a week and decided to take a day off for some recoil therapy.

Its not a pain and I just did it for you. That said, it is something you can go for yourself by clicking on the match dashboard link at the bottom of your registration email.

I am glad to know that we can play a role in your therapy. It takes a village.:D
