Thinking of selling a few guns thru a local dealer/ friend. He did great for me on a Win Mod 97 and a CETME. Thinking of selling an SKS or two. I have a couple of Russian i would keep, a chewed up Albanian (understood very few brought into US due to destruction of these) and some Chinese to sell. Thoughts on value if anyone would dare venture a hunch? Chinese are in good shape.

On the Chinese guns, there is quite a spread on value depending on exactly what it is. Some pics, especially of the markings, would help to narrow it down.

I can take some pics today. Pulled one out yesterday. Marked norinco, and i believe 22 in a triangle for the factory?. Can’t recall if bayonet was blade or cruciform.

A couple of very nice examples there.

Here is a link you may find helpful in identifying exactly what you have.

Arsenal 22 is an indicator that it may be a little different than the majority. Well worth researching in case it is rare.

Seen some astronomical prices on very common rifles, lately.

There are over a hundred known tyoe56 factory stamps. So Arsenal stamps aren't very significant to pricing the Chinese sks-- unless you have an early 'M21' VN bringback.

Though i do not recall seeing a /22\ stamped carbine-- though ive seen it recorded as a known arsenal stamp.

Depending on condition Type56 sks regularly sell in the $400-800 range-- possibly more. Since 2020 sale and auction prices have been all over the place.

Post photos of the rifle to show the overall condition and also all the stamped serials as well as any EP serials on the extractor, sight leaf, gas tube, and piston shaft
