    Hi All,

Is the Gun Show a good place to buy 9mm Ammo? Can I find better ammo prices online? I know the prices are inflated everywhere :(

    Thanks All,
    Eric

You'll know when you get there. Have an idea of what you're willing to pay before you go.

With Ammo the way it is I don't see how a Gunshow would be worth it for a seller to discount.
It would only be a convenience factor if you don't own a storefront.

Gun shows for ammo guys is a way to move a bunch of inventory quickly in 1-2 days.

They dont have that problem right now. For a storefront All they have to do is say "hey, got 9mm" on a forum or Facebook page and people will come a running.

what am I missing for the sellers?

For the buyers, its more of a way to buy ammo and maybe save shipping if you are already there.

All the sitreps I've heard are that no, it's not cheaper at shows right now.

    Best bet is still online.

Buddy of mine foolishly paid $1/round of .223 the other day for 55gr FMJBT PMC Bronze when he could have purchased it for significantly less online even with inflated prices.

Wow, I'm going to tell my buddy he is getting into shooting at the wrong time. Expensive guns and ammo shortages. No telling how bad it could get depending on the election.

I wouldn't be worried about CHEAPER, but of WHO'S GOT IT. Looking for cheaper/cheapest of anything is rarely a good idea but especially now with ammo.

These threads remind me of the real estate threads from 2009 on the finance forums. Folks sit on their butt all day in front of their computers and bitch about not finding the deals others seem to be getting.

Finding good deals on ammo right now is based on going into your Brick and Mortar (B&M) local gun shop (LGS) that you've been frequenting since the 2014's when AR-15's were selling for $499 online.

    It's not business, it's personal - ALWAYS!!!
