This morning, the dove nest is empty. I suspect the kiddos are hiding in one of our nearby shrub beds, since Mama is still hanging close by..

This fat squirrel was so pleased with his cicada buffet, he didn't even bother running away. He just sat there chewing, smugly.

Hard to appreciate the size of this old bull pine because you cant see the top or the whole thing in its entirety.
I bet the main log is about 36-40 some feet log until it splits into two leaders.
