When you say you've been getting approved in 5-6 weeks, I assume that means from when you go pending? Correct? So if dwnthehatch's Form 4 was received in Atlanta on 9/29/10, he probably went pending about 11/1/10 - 1/7/10. That would put his pending to approved time in 5-6 weeks also.

I don't know any of this pending stuff. Just from the time I write the check, to the time I get the call to pick the NFA item up. I've never checked with or bugged the ATF branch.

    Midcounty can verify

If you are getting approved 5-6 weeks AFTER sending in your paperwork.....someone at ATF likes you!

Pending is the status at ATF once your paperwork is assigned to a reviewer.

Just checked with BATFE and got another tax stamp approved. :)

Item went pending 12/22/10 and was approved 1/03/11. That is only 12 days (including weekends and holidays) with a reviewer! This is my quickest NFA approval so far.

I purchased a .45 can and a integrally suppressed 10/22. The state wait was 30 days and the BATFE wait was 68 days. I received my paperwork and took possession of my NFA items the first week of December 2010 (about a month ago).

Single form 3 item submitted to Maryland State January 19th 2011. I'll keep ya updated. Or form 4, whatever it is

Received 'good to go' letter from MSP last week or the week before which was headed with the date 1/26/2011. Waiting for prints and forms to be returned.

Date in top right says "Received: 11/06/2010" I don't know what that means because I definitely didn't even drop my paper work off before the New Year....
