Hmm, sounds like a fun way to toss some beer cans. Who catches them?

Seriously though. You will launch a beer can with it?

Well I drink them first and then I cut them in half and then fill them with concrete. Please do not try to catch them!!

Barrel all turned up and breach plug turned to .004 over size of the bore of the barrel. Now I,m going to shrink fit and weld them together. I cut the edge at an angel so it well have a deep weld on the breach to barrel fit.:)

I'm going to heat the barrel up with the torch and I have the breach piece in the freezer. The freezer gets down to -10. Then I will slam them together. well it went together real easy, But once cooled it ain't coming a part very easy. Then I welded the crap out of it. After that I will turn it in the lathe and make it in to a slight taper on the breach end.

Welded on the trunnion and cut out the two gussets that go on the sides of the breach. Then i welded the gussets on and cleaned up all the welds, that took a lot of grinding, shaping and sanding. Drilled the touch hole and a cote of flat black pant.
